InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
The typical process goes like this: * Check if game has native Linux version and run that. If not, read on. * Check https://protondb.com or https://appdb.winehq.org/ for compatibility status of the game you want to run. ProtonDB is for Steam-only games, you won't find compatibility reports for Non-Steam games there. * If you have the Steam version of the game, try to run it from within Steam with the integrated default Proton version * If that doesn't work, try a custom Proton fork like Proton GE (also within Steam, but you have to download it first and unpack it into ~/.steam/steam/compatibilitytools.d/ (create that folder if it doesn't exist). Then restart Steam and select the newly unpacked GE version as the compatibility tool for that game. Then start the game. * If that doesn't work, try several different (older) versions of Proton, or maybe Proton Experimental (especially if the game is VERY new). * There's a high chance that your game will work at this point (unless it's known to be broken in some way). * If that still doesn't work, check on https://lutris.net/ if an installation script exists for your game. If yes, install the game with that (you should probably install it again using the Lutris script, and then run it via Lutris instead of Steam). * If that doesn't work, start researching, or wait until the situation improves.
You can check if your games run well on Proton here: https://www.protondb.com/ Here is a customized proton, in case you need: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom
