    Lightweight Kubernetes

I’m currently running a couple of multi node test clusters on my Win10 minipc (i5+16gb RAM) with Docker Desktop + WSL2 + K3D (https://k3d.io). If you are going to be mainly concerned about “running things inside the cluster”, this setup will be very useful; if your interests lay mainly in “setting clusters up”, I’ll suggest going for K3S (https://k3s.io) with k3sup companion script, or RKE (Rancher Lab’s Kubernetes distro and its deployment tool rke).

  • k3d
