I checked out the github issue where the main Playnite developer and some users discuss the idea of Linux compatibility. He seems pretty firmly against the idea, so I would rule out the possibility of Playnite coming to Linux natively any time soon. Also seems to be using a somewhat old version of .Net. Worth reading over the conversation to understand his reasons.
Your best bet if you want to make your life easier would be to either look at alternative software that does the same thing on Linux, such as Lutris, or wait to see how well Windows can run on the Deck.
