  • ZeroTier

A Smart Ethernet Switch for Earth

  • One option that might work is to set up Zerotier on your Plex server and Shield, which will make them behave as if they were on the same network no matter where they are, and will do so without requiring open ports on the router.

  • wail2ban

    Discontinued fail2ban, for windows.

  • If you can I'd recommend setting up pfsense or something similar between your home network and the outside internet. If you cannot, perhaps try to set this up. I've never used it but was curious if it existed as I've heard of the linux version (fail2ban) for years. It automatically will add firewall rules to block IP's based on conditions you set like failed logon attempts.
