  • I love Raspberry Pis and I love Matrix, but unless this is meant for a specialized homeserver that isn't going to be part of the federation, the two are not meant to mix. Synapse tends to be a resource hog, especially when users join large rooms like those on matrix.org. I highly doubt that even an 8GB RAM Pi 4 would keep up with the database operations in that scenario.
