JavaFX is actually distributed separately these days (it used to be part of the standard JDK) but you can easily get it from Azul and other vendors... I recommend using a JDK (Java Development Toolkit) from SDKMAN! as it has several options of JDKs that include JavaFX, if you choose to try it out.

I can guarantee that JavaFX and Swing have nothing to do with enterprise Java :) but you're correct, Processing is actually Java as well, I for some reason was thinking of d3.js instead (I know, totally unrelated, but sometimes my brain mixes things up).
