I'm feeling more comfortable showing off my template project for setting up libtcod via Vcpkg which I hope would be the easiest method of starting a new libtcod/C++ project at the moment.
I've been messing around with updating the older libtcod C++ projects. Right now it's The Cave which came with a disclaimer in the readme warning that anyone going into the code is going to have a bad time.
It’s been a good week. In the hope that I’ll actually start to make more reasonable decisions about code structure and maintainability, I put my code up on my Github repo. Already, this had produced dividends in the form of me breaking stuff out into multiple files, for instance.
