  • zellij

A terminal workspace with batteries included

  • I would personally *really* like it if someone wanted to port this to windows. I would be happy to give all the required support and guidance. Generally, if you implement this for windows it should do the trick (though I imagine it will be easier said than done): https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij/blob/main/src/common/os_input_output.rs#L163-L194

  • xplr

A hackable, minimal, fast TUI file explorer

  • Nice... Do you think we can somehow integrate it with xplr to that I don't have to implement tabs and panes?

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • crates.io

    The Rust package registry

  • Yep! Unfortunately Mosaic was a quite popular name and it was tricky to find a domain and a place on crates.io for it. Zellij is certainly borrowing the theme of the Mosaic name :)

  • tab-rs

The intuitive, config-driven terminal multiplexer designed for software & systems engineers

  • I myself use the many (alacritty) terminals + tiling WM solution at the moment (switching between i3wm and LeftWM) but it doesn't feel optimal. I always though tmux looked too involved to learn so I've been on the lookout for alternatives such as Wezterm (a terminal with built-in multiplexing), tab (a command line controlled multiplexer) and now zellij.

  • wezterm

A GPU-accelerated cross-platform terminal emulator and multiplexer written by @wez and implemented in Rust

  • starship

☄🌌️ The minimal, blazing-fast, and infinitely customizable prompt for any shell!

  • Hey, just updating you on this: I think the reason for the prompt appearing twice was the Powerlevel10k theme for zsh. I switched to Starship (written in Rust 😁) and the problem has disappeared.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
