Which UI Library does zellij use?
We rolled our own over time and as we needed, I'm afraid. This isn't really in any specific section of the code base (unfortunately!) but generally the default_plugins are a good place to look (for the top and bottom bars), as well as zellij-server/src/ui (https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij/tree/main/zellij-server/src/ui) for other things such as pane frames

Can’t figure out how to integrate tmux and vim logically for myself?
If you only want tmux for terminal windows/splits and nothing else I'd suggest switching to Zellij. Sensible default hotkeys out of the box, including locking Zellij to avoid conflict with other keybinds.

Zellij 0.30.0 released: search terminal scrollback in your $EDITOR, compact UI and more
You can read the full announcement here: https://zellij.dev/news/edit-scrollback-compact/ You can find the release directly here: https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij/releases/tag/v0.30.0
Yesterday we released a very exciting version of Zellij - the Rusty terminal multiplexer. Aside from many bug and usability fixes, it includes some really nice features:
-
Use fzf for tmux session switching
If you like tmux, take a look at zellij (https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij), it is a modern alternative that has a lot of nice features (either developed, or on the roadmap) that tmux is missing.
Have no relationship to it, just a happy "customer".

After years on Linux, I just discovered Vim & TMUX. They're fucking amazing.
u/rattlerake What do you think about zellij? I rarely use terminal multiplexers and never remember shortcuts, but zellij have them on screen. :P

Any hope for Neovim terminal?
I agree with u/freistil90. I don't work with multiplexers so much, but if I need one, zellij is more appealing for me than tmux and screen. u/Kind_Bonus9887 and u/chaitanyabsprip you should check it first. Neovim is in it's core vim and it will be.

Shout out to some cool and promising open source Linux projects (List)
https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij - similar to tmux and screen, it is a workspace aimed at developers, ops-oriented people and anyone who loves the terminal. I personally didn't try it (i try will in a future) cause i don't like to use tmux, but i know a lot of people do.

New release of Zellij, the terminal workspace with batteries included
Love the idea! However #811 and #196 are big blockers. Missing these crucial functionalities.
