My questions are as follows: 1) In the analysis section, some of the moves are marked as mistakes, inaccuracies and blunders by their respective symbols. Could there be a depiction of views which are good, great and brilliancy moves? 2) Apart from the chess server work, what other hobbies do you have? 3) What is your vision of lichess.org in the next coming years?
See other replies for websites that use the Lichess API to provide this service. I think it's cool that there is room for many chess services and websites.
No, thibault doesn't develop stockfish. We use WASM stockfish, which is developed by Niklas, one of the primary lichess devs. However it is technically a completely different project. You can find it here: https://github.com/niklasf/stockfish.wasm The problems database is accessible here: https://database.lichess.org/#puzzles Time odds: https://reddit.com/r/chess/comments/mpasyl/i_started_lichess_ask_me_anything/gu8nz3s/ Not currently possible, not planned to be added App github: https://github.com/veloce/lichobile. Here is the open issue on Github of it https://github.com/niklasf/lila-openingexplorer/issues/63
Would you consider merging https://listudy.org into the official website if they allow it? I love the idea of studies, but I'm not that good at memorizing if it's just a noninteractive pgn file, and I like the idea of spaced repetition but listudy doesn't have that many good public studies right now because it's a small website. Anyways, thanks so much for lichess!
nandemo asked about geolocation tracking for lichess, maybe you could try https://plausible.io or matamo? Both libre/open source and non-tracking (althought default plausible instance is cloudflare hosted I think).
For now I'm doing some problems from this repo: https://github.com/karan/Projects
Mainly, handle the websocket connections with a different server: https://github.com/ornicar/lila-ws

Our poker platform is now open source too, we were inspired by Lichess and ended up following the Lichess model and making it totally free/non-profit :) https://github.com/Monadical-SAS/oddslingers.poker
I'm not insulting anybody. I just don't think Thib's open source software achievements rise to "legend" status. Here's the project but I doubt you'll understand it; yeah, that was an insult. Now fuck off. https://github.com/dexygen/deskml
