  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • TimeShift

Discontinued System restore tool for Linux. Creates filesystem snapshots using rsync+hardlinks, or BTRFS snapshots. Supports scheduled snapshots, multiple backup levels, and exclude filters. Snapshots can be restored while system is running or from Live CD/USB.

  • Then I installed Timeshift so it takes snapshots of my disk at regular intervals (It takes less than a second to create a snapshot). So now I have backups of my disk I can restore or browse instantly: https://github.com/teejee2008/timeshift . Which is why I love btrfs, I can put the snapshots on the disk I took them on, or on an external disk.

  • pulseaudio-modules-bt

Discontinued [Deprecated, see https://github.com/EHfive/pulseaudio-modules-bt/issues/154] Adds Sony LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, AAC codecs (A2DP Audio) support to PulseAudio on Linux

  • Finally, the audio quality on Bluetooth earphones was not so good by default, so I used this: https://github.com/EHfive/pulseaudio-modules-bt

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • workspaces-to-dock

A gnome shell extension that transforms the workspaces into an intellihide dock

  • Then I found the vertical workspaces arrangement not so comfortable, so I changed it to Horizontal using https://github.com/RensAlthuis/workspaces-to-dock

  • libinput-gestures

Actions gestures on your touchpad using libinput

  • Then I added support for gestures to move between workspaces by swiping like in Windows & MacOS: https://github.com/bulletmark/libinput-gestures
