For problems with scripts there is a repo with fixed scripts. You can place these next to the vpx files and make sure they have the same file name. https://github.com/jsm174/vpx-standalone-scripts Scripts can be extracted with `vpinball -extractvbs ./test.vpx` or faster using https://github.com/francisdb/vpxtool . Vpxtool can also apply basic patches for the most common issue and has a text-based frontend.
