  • dotfiles

📂 My personal Đotfiles (by NNBnh)

  • Yes this would help you: SBB was designed for people who don't know much about git (like me) so every thing you want to backup can be stored inside a single directory and from there you can handle git more easily. Here is a small script that i wrote to quickly add, commit and push file to git repo: https://github.com/NNBnh/dots/blob/master/extra/scripts/git-pushq

  • dotbot

A tool that bootstraps your dotfiles ⚡️

  • There's also DotBot which doesn't require any package to be installed, nor any sudo privileges - its super simple and works great.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • superb-bootstrap

Discontinued 🅱️ OS dotfiles-manager framework that SuperB

  • Well, look like the only "one of it kind" feature that SBB have is cross-platform packages installation from a packageslist file, hope no one has done that before...

  • bmono

Discontinued 🏷️ Mono font that SuperB

  • It's Bmono

  • yadm

    Yet Another Dotfiles Manager

  • There are other projects that achieve a similar outcome such as using GNU Stow, yadm, dotbot, mackup, rcm, mgmt. Or some sys-admins may use an infrastructure automation system like Ansible, Puppet or Chef- when nothing quite fits you're use case, some people write their own system (like OP has done), or you could just manage all these things manually!

  • nix

Nix, the purely functional package manager

  • Not exactly in the same realm, but Nix + home-manager is also a great option for someone interested in functional/declarative package and dot file management (though the learning curve can be pretty steep).

  • Nextcloud

☁️ Nextcloud server, a safe home for all your data

  • Hello u/lissy93, After some thinking and consideration, i have decided that the SBB project with not support git submodule because this will make SBB require git to function. This might sound weird but many people don't need to version control thier dotfiles using git and want to host thier dotfiles via nextcloud, google drive or dropbox. But again thanks for letting me know about git submodule, my file's quality have been improve ^ ^.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • mas

:package: Mac App Store command line interface

  • MAS is a CLI that allows to install an app from the App Store with mas install app-id (it requires you to login into the AppStore manually first though).
