   i spent some time and successfully rebased Kobra 2.8.2 OG firmware from an unknown Marlin ~2.0.8 frankenstein to a clean latest (as of now) release (not bugfix) 2.1.x -- v2.1.2.1 + 1 commit

   Before I converted my Kobra Max to BTT SKR Mini, I was looking into firmware upgrade and also flashed it with available updates made by various users (https://github.com/wabbitguy/Kobra_Max/releases). It improved printer, a bit, slightly... but I was still unhappy. I also heard that input shaping and linear advance are more or less experimental features in Marlin and not so well worked out. Hell, even Prusa rather used their own implementation for their MK4.
