Playnite is a highly customizable, completely free video games library that acts as a hub for your games. In that way, it's similar to GOG Galaxy. However, Playnite comes with a lot more customization options. One of such options, which we care about for the purposes of this guide, is the ability to edit your playtime for any game. Once you've added a game to your library, you can edit its details, and in the advanced tab you'll find a playtime tab, where you can input your playtime in seconds.
ActivityWatch is another free software that allows you to keep track of your playtime, although that's an oversimplification of what it really is because it keeps track of all the windows you've opened on your computer. The main purpose of this app is helping with productivity, as it gives you a clue of what you've done on your PC and for how long.
