Appreciate your kind words, and absolutely, there are resources to help you navigate this creative endeavor. If your anthro husky avatar is for VRChat, SRanipal shapekeys should suffice. If you're venturing into VTubing, I recommend incorporating ARKit blendshapes. If you have both in your toolkit, you'll be able to create Unified Expressions blendshapes, a task which shouldn't take more than an evening. These can then be animated in Unity with Adjerry91's VRCFaceTracking-Templates.
I utilize the Varjo Aero VR-headset, backed by the VRCFT application for eye-tracking. A Vive Facial Tracker handles lip and tongue movements - it's snugly attached to the headset with a custom 3D-printed mount. Note, this setup does necessitate an extra USB-cable for the tether, making it a bit heavy for pulley-based cable management.
