  • Plausible Analytics

Simple, open source, lightweight (< 1 KB) and privacy-friendly web analytics alternative to Google Analytics.

  • I've been pretty happy with plausible analytics. They have a hosted solution as well.

  • Matomo

Empowering People Ethically with the leading open source alternative to Google Analytics that gives you full control over your data. Matomo lets you easily collect data from websites & apps and visualise this data and extract insights. Privacy is built-in. Liberating Web Analytics. Star us on Github? +1. And we love Pull Requests!

  • Not sure how it compares, I set up self hosted matomo (originally named piwik) and it's been running without issue since 2013 or so. Only useful if what you're running is on php. Probably would've picked a stack today.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • Umami

Umami is a simple, fast, privacy-focused alternative to Google Analytics.

  • Yep, I just setup Umami ( yesterday and added it to some properties alongside GA to see how it goes. It's a very simple interface with everything I really need for web analytics so I'm enjoying it so far. I self-hosted so if it sticks around the only thing I might look at is having a replica running for it (already put a high frequency backup in place).

  • Rudderstack

Privacy and Security focused Segment-alternative, in Golang and React

  • In bigger setups, all you want is a data collector and router so that you can feed the data into multiple destinations, depending on the use case. Analytics is just one. Example: &
