  • Plausible Analytics

Simple, open source, lightweight (< 1 KB) and privacy-friendly web analytics alternative to Google Analytics.

It's not for free, but it's rather cheap at 72€pA for as many sites as you like: https://plausible.io/

  • Matomo

Empowering People Ethically with the leading open source alternative to Google Analytics that gives you full control over your data. Matomo lets you easily collect data from websites & apps and visualise this data and extract insights. Privacy is built-in. Liberating Web Analytics. Star us on Github? +1. And we love Pull Requests!

At a previous client gig at a startup, we used Matomo (https://matomo.org/) for basic analytics and it did the job.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • Umami

Umami is a simple, fast, privacy-focused alternative to Google Analytics.

When I was reasearching GDPR friendly analytics solutions I stumbled upon multiple options that look somewhat similar. One that looks similar to both Fathom and Plausible is Umami and they offer a free tier.
