  • I'm happy with NVIDIA on Linux for the most part. I stick with X11 for the overclocking Green with envy and g-sync, plus DLSS 2 and ray tracing works in every game I've tried besides hitman, however DLSS 3 frame generation doesn't work and no idea when/if it will.

  • nvidiaLinuxGamemode

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • open-gpu-kernel-modules

  • gamescope

Discontinued SteamOS session compositing window manager [Moved to: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope] (by Plagman)

  • Works fine for most distros and purposes. If you're looking for proper Linux driver support, go AMD. It's caught up enough that you won't be disappointed like 10 odd years ago and performance is not that far off and I'd dare say competitive. Plus, FSR is pretty damn good, and gamescope is killer for gaming (if you want the resource savings/features or are a couch gamer with SteamOS/Steam Deck/ChimeraOS etc..).
