NVK, an open-source Vulkan driver for NVIDIA hardware that is part of Mesa, now supports the Vulkan extension VK_KHR_multiview
You talking about this one? You do realize NVK doesn't work for this driver right? NVK is for Nouveau, an entirely separate effort from what Nvidia's doing right now.

It's a long time since I read something related to the NVIDIA open gpu kernel modules, and today I stumbled on its repository https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules ! How is it going with that project related to the usability for Linux distros users?

Even on Linux, the community made RADV Vulkan backend offers better performance compared to AMD's AMDVLK backend
They could at least let the community to the work for them though, which they were explicitly preventing until they released https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules (and work to integrate nvidia into the community drivers is ongoing now)
Yeah, at least with https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules the community can now do NVIDIA's work for them as they don't have to reverse engineer the low level gpu interface
