    • It would likely be more of a hassle than it's worth, but your best bet would probably be to keep them separate and periodically run a script like plex_sync to sync up playlists/collections/etc (I've never used it, but it seems to sync most of what you're looking for). You can also manually edit preferences.xml to mirror MachineId, AnonymousMachineIdentifier, and ProcessedMachineIdentifier between the servers, which will trick Plex into thinking they're the exact same server, preventing two identical servers appearing when navigating the app, but weird things might happen if both are online at the same time.
