Don't use Nexus Mod Manager, or FOMM, both are pretty shit, I don't recommend them. Instead use Mod Organizer 2 it's on the Skyrim page but it works all the same.
I recommend following Viva New Vegas This will tell you how to use MO2, along with making your game be stable and work properly.
