Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • bevy

A refreshingly simple data-driven game engine built in Rust

  • A while back, I wanted to learn Rust so I looked online and picked up Hands on Rust. Well... let's say, shortly after I ended up with a newly gained love for the language and developing roguelikes with it. I immediately started a new project using Bevy, mostly because it looked cool.

  • The-Games-Foxes-Play

A nontraditional traditional roguelike about critters and soul harvesting.

  • The Games Foxes Play (github | view all previous posts | play online in browser on itch.io! (ending is bugged due to new mechanics, working on fixing it right now - however, I don't imagine anyone trying out this demo would get there))

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • steamsky

Mirror of a roguelike in sky with a steampunk setting

  • And standard weekly report. In the stable version, a real standard. No new bugs found this week, still one which I can't reproduce awaits for help.

  • AdventOfCode2022

Solutions to all 25 Advent of Code 2022 in Rust 🦀 Less than 100 lines per day, total runtime of less than 1 second. (by AxlLind)

  • I'm reaching the end of Advent of Code. Day 16's puzzle wiped out half the leaderboard I made and I might be the only person making it to the end on the 25th. I went back and was able to finish the days I struggled with, with some crudely made solutions, one of which couldn't solve the input but was close enough that I could guess the correct output from there.

  • python-tcod-camera

Camera helper utilities for grid-based games.

  • Mainly added example scripts for tcod-camera. Still unsure about the API, but there isn't really anything to add or remove at this point. I'll have to move on to other projects.

  • ExoInt

Rocky planets as devolatilized stars (Source codes for Wang et al. 2019, MNRAS, doi.org/10.1093/mnras/sty2749). Purpose: devolatilize stellar abundances to produce rocky exoplanetary bulk composition, with which constrain the modelling of the exoplanet interiors.

  • Sure: the one with code is https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/482/2/2222/5127054 and the code is at https://github.com/astro-seanwhy/ExoInt. AFAIU it's just some random picks and Monte Carlo simulation

  • ExoPlex

    A thermodynamically self-consistent mass-radius-composition calculator

  • several papers also use https://github.com/CaymanUnterborn/ExoPlex or its derivative https://github.com/schulze61/ExoLens but that one is really arcane, at least to me

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • ExoLens

Compositional calculator for rocky planets based on ExoPlex (Unterborn et al. 2018).

  • several papers also use https://github.com/CaymanUnterborn/ExoPlex or its derivative https://github.com/schulze61/ExoLens but that one is really arcane, at least to me
