The good news is we are VERY close to getting it. If you have seen in the past 5+ years, we went from only supporting DX9, to getting DX10, then DX11 and now we got some support for DX12. We got a much better Proton version, a better support for dxvk, even vkd3d-proton, LatencyFleX and the amazing dxvk-nvapi so things are changing REALLY fast. We have also seen gaming performance much better in several scenarios when comparing them directly against Windows 11. At this speed, maybe 2023 or 2024 will be the Game on Linux year.
