  • CDNDrive

    :cloud: CDNDrive = BiliDrive + SuperBed,支持任意文件的全速上传与下载

Project mention: YouTubeDrive: Store Files as YouTube Videos | news.ycombinator.com | 2022-05-24

This is pretty tame compared to some actual, practical ones such as https://github.com/apachecn/CDNDrive

For people who didn't read Chinese: it encodes data into 16M blocks in PNG and then uploads (together with a index) to various Chinese social media sites that doesn't re-compress your images. I knew people have used it to store* TBs after TBs data on them already.

*Of course, it would be foolish to think your data is even remotely safe "storing" them this way. But it's a very good solution for sharing large files.

    Project mention: django-filebrowser implementation or alternatives for S3 integration | reddit.com/r/django | 2021-10-07

My site currently uses Grappelli and image versions provided by django-filebrowser so I need to keep this functionality. I don't really see many other options.. there is https://github.com/mkaykisiz/DjangoS3Browser but it doesn't look like it supports image versions, and would need skinning to look good with Grappelli. Same for https://github.com/etianen/django-s3-storage
