It’s so much better with better-onetab, where it even has a search bar to easily search for old tabs based on URL and page header. Highly recommend them both, and better-onetab is even open source if that matters to you!

Specifically for finding the source of an image, I like to use Search by Image if you want an extension, or ImgOps if you want a website.
