You can use yt-dlp or youtube-dl to download videos from almost any site.

/u/savevideo if you're on phone, or youtube-dl if you're cool.

Odd that no one's answered this by the time I came across it. Anyway, when someone uploads a GIF to Reddit, Reddit creates a video preview, which you can easily save with the usual right-click and save as or click through to request the original GIF. However, when someone uploads an actual video, Reddit will process that into a video format optimized for web viewing, with adaptive quality based on connection, and so on (called DASH video, if you're interested). For these, you'll have to use a tool. The easiest are the various websites where you can just input the thread URL and it gives you a link to download the video, like redditsave.com. I personally prefer using standalone software like youtube-dl, or its more active fork yt-dlp (which has extra features like the ability to detect when a video has chapters and download each one as a separate file).

I've already tried to use cookies from the session (see the above command) but it just gives me a 404 not found. Apparently this should be possible in yt-dlp. I found this github page of someone trying do that and apparently yt-dlp and youtube-dl should work with it: https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/issues/28521. It has a few examples of

Already solved but if you are still looking for a way to download without the ads then you can use monkey-dl and anime-downloader. beside that then nyaa is your friend.
