2D lighting in vision cone without lights?
I'm using The 2D Vision Cone plugin to compute unit vision cones (as a Polygon2D) and either hide or show enemies. What I'd love to do is darken the other parts of the screen so it's obvious to the player what their units can and can't see.

Casting shadows from circles by calculating their tangents to the player character. Now if someone could tell me how to make them into a mesh for masking enemies and objects outside the character's line of sight...
Oh, just came across this one yesterday: https://github.com/d-bucur/godot-vision-cone
