    These announcements always seem to happen in the late winter for some unknowable reason. Anyway, xNetHack version 7.0 is officially released! You can play it directly on hardfought.org, via an SSH client of your choice or in your browser with tiles. Windows binaries are available at the GitHub release page - follow the devteam's instructions for running on Windows. Or you can get the source from GitHub and compile it yourself.

    I'm currently developing a roguelike game in Kotlin, using an ECS approach and using D&D's setting. However, I'm struggling on how to translate races and classes into ECS and was looking for some insight.
