  • Can someone explain what's going on with media store?
    2 projects | /r/androiddev | 16 Jul 2022
Use the example from the official to get images, works! but only for images taken with the camera. will it work in any android version? don't know.
  • A question regarding simple file manager
    1 project | /r/SimpleMobileTools | 4 Apr 2022
I am running Lineage OS and that comes without com.android.documentsui. It has an alternative documentsui tied to the stock file manager. Meaning I couldn't remove just the file manager without removing documentsui like I would be able to do in stock android. I just thought that every file manager comes pre packed with its own version of documentsui, based on the fact that some alternative file managers also work with keepassdx. Also according to this article from android developers every app can implement its own file picker/ document provider that can be used by other apps example from the article (github).
