  • storage-samples

Multiple samples showing the best practices in storage APIs on Android.

  • I am running Lineage OS and that comes without com.android.documentsui. It has an alternative documentsui tied to the stock file manager. Meaning I couldn't remove just the file manager without removing documentsui like I would be able to do in stock android. I just thought that every file manager comes pre packed with its own version of documentsui, based on the fact that some alternative file managers also work with keepassdx. Also according to this article from android developers every app can implement its own file picker/ document provider that can be used by other apps example from the article (github).
