I think the short answer is no. If a feature like that wasn't already mentioned in the dev's notes, then someone will need to create a patch for it. I've never used vimium, but everything you need to know is on their github page here.

How can I actually hide hidden groups?
I use the web version and the Chrome/Brave/Edge/Firefox addon Notion Boost, which has this option built in. I don't run Notion without it, because it has so many good features. The free version works perfectly for most things.
