Scraping Realtime Data from finviz
https://github.com/mariostoev/finviz may be helpful to you
-
Question about (somewhat) live market volume data
Try https://www.tiingo.com/ pretty cheap data. You might be able to also scrape https://finviz.com/screener.ashx?v=161&ft=2&o=pe and store the data and compare. Useful python package I have previously used. https://github.com/mariostoev/finviz

Does anybody know any stock screening APIs?

Screener via API
Anytime someone asks this question this unofficial finviz API python wrapper comes up. I would like to point out that all he is doing in this code is scraping finviz. So if you have a screener you like you could do the same

Any API/Bot/program that can give us live market data of tickers that suddenly gap up 5-10% due to news/catalysts
You can use one of the free stock screeners, here's an API for finviz for example: https://github.com/mariostoev/finviz
- Collection of Finviz screeners
-
Ticker validation help
I use finvizapi to filter on tickers I want (by exchange, market_cap, price), save to a CSV, then loop through each ticker to request data from different data vendors (polygon, tiingo, yfinance, quandl)
