Ask HN: Let's build an HN uBlacklist to improve our Google search results?
This was discussed around a month ago, leading me to this post:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29546433#29549855
and the consequent uBlock Origin list that is what I'm using as the so far better solution for this problem:
https://github.com/stroobants-dev/ublock-origin-shitty-copie...
but it will need curation and updates over time, which I'm not sure the author is willing or has the time to do.

Ublacklist – the missing button on Google search, IMO
Created a repository for it which also includes the Pinterest list of uBlacklist (https://github.com/stroobants-dev/ublock-origin-shitty-copie...).
Easier to keep it up to date than a gist.

How bad are search results? Compare Google, Bing, Marginalia, Kagi, and ChatGPT
Ironically I had to use a search engine to discover what "Mwmbl" was. It's apparently a search engine. But, visiting the front page, I see something akin to a git commit log?! I'm not sure I'd have guessed that this was a SE if Brave Search did not tell me it was (even then I'm not convinced yet).
