Can I write BASIC externally and then load it onto my Spectrum via DivMMC?
For a quick online compile: https://zx.remysharp.com/bas/ If you'd like to add it to your tool-chain (as I did) you can go here and have it locally. It's a bit fiddly to download it but after that, it works great. For me, the most important feature is to be able to have comments that are ignored at compile time.
