  • bas2tap

The utility to convert `BASIC in an ASCII file' to a TAP tape image file, to be loaded into an emulator. Comes complete with portable C source. With full syntax checking!

  • txt2bas

ZX Spectrum BASIC conversion tooling (specific support for NextBASIC)

  • For a quick online compile: https://zx.remysharp.com/bas/ If you'd like to add it to your tool-chain (as I did) you can go here and have it locally. It's a bit fiddly to download it but after that, it works great. For me, the most important feature is to be able to have comments that are ignored at compile time.
