    I guess I'm always surprised when I don't see MapTool mentioned. It's multiplatform, 100% open source and the Takehara framework includes just about all of 5e.     I use Takehara's DnD 5e framework which can be found Here and has a section in the discord "dnd5e-takehara" channel under Frameworks. It works a little differently than the one Arcadum uses but it's way more user friendly. You can add onto it with custom stuff as you learn and it has tons of tutorials that you can find on the Github page I linked.
