Also exposing the files over http(s) (might not be an option) and adding that as a webseed can help mitigate slowness. py3createtorrent and torrenttools can both add such seeds to existing torrents or create new torrents from scratch.

Can I create a .sfv file from a .torrent file?
That sounds like a worthwhile feature to add to https://github.com/fbdtemme/torrenttools, OP could open an issue at the GitHub & see how it goes. This is assuming it's not totally impossible or crazy to do..Sort of like a torrent2sha1 feature. (also pinging /u/fbdtemme)
