Ever since macOS 11, Apple introduced SF Symbol. However, this new set of symbols aren't implemented in all places in macOS and it's most noticeable with the Touch Bar. I have attached an image depicting the issue. Please feel free to report it to Apple so we can have it fixed soon! Thanks!
I use an app called terminal notifier - I noticed in Monterey SF symbols just show as a box with a ? In it. No issue using them in Big Sur, never did find a fix and ended up just using emojis instead.

🔊 Say Github - monitoring Github Workflow
Going a step further I've thought that relying on sound maybe it's not the best option. I've decided to display system notification instead of using say command. For displaying notification I used terminal-notifier tool which is pretty straightforward to use.

Your note-taking process
The only "difficult" part of this is deciding exactly how you want to send the notification to the notification center. You have many options including the two most common, Growl and terminal-notifier.

Why can't MacOS just TELL ME which program is using the drive I'm trying to eject rather than just have me guess?
That said, after I learned about how to use lsof, I found this little free app called =Sloth (and its github page ), which is just a nice native Mac app serving as a GUI for lsof. It'll let you know exactly which process to quit or kill so your drive can eject happily.

Sveinbjörn is a ball of energy that just radiates positives for human society.
