Ever since macOS 11, Apple introduced SF Symbol. However, this new set of symbols aren't implemented in all places in macOS and it's most noticeable with the Touch Bar. I have attached an image depicting the issue. Please feel free to report it to Apple so we can have it fixed soon! Thanks!

    • I use an app called terminal notifier - I noticed in Monterey SF symbols just show as a box with a ? In it. No issue using them in Big Sur, never did find a fix and ended up just using emojis instead.
