streamdeck-youtube-dl-plugin VS Reddit-Enhancement-Suite

I was actually so mad at v.reddit links and it being difficult to share the or dl the raw video on discord that I wrote a StreamDeck plugin so I could just copy the link and press my streamdeck button and it would dl the video in my specified folder. I would have a button for the cat picture folder, button for meme folder, etc. There's also a few additional features that allows it to download reddit images too in the same button, and since it uses youtube-dl it also works with youtube links. Have you tried old reddit with the RES extension? I'm not a fan of the way comments appear without the extension, but the extension boosts readability significantly. I can't stand reddit's design without it.

Not a setting but RES plus old reddit is fantastic.

It's a giant step backwards in site design. Discuit wastes an incredible amount of screen space in making the site look pretty. Scroll down a bit and you'll see that more than half of your screen is empty and there is very little submissions displayed. Look at https://old.reddit.com/ and see the difference between the two. (Or add Reddit Enhancement Suite https://redditenhancementsuite.com/ for an even better experience), Old Reddit is vastly better. People are not using Discuit, likely as a result of the site design.

Use RES and filter by keyword.

We prefer platforms that are integrated to RES like Youtube, Souncloud, Bandcamp, ...
