Anyone noticed how dynamic collections don't affect sharedconfig.vdf anymore?
So, I've been trying my see around if I can fix my steam library via steamgrid until I realized that whatever I do with my collections, my two biggest ones can't be modified. Digging deeper realized that sharedconfig.vdf no longer updates the tags when it's on a dynamic collection. Even renaming said dynamic collection doesn't affect the file at all...

Is there a way to add Images to non steam games?
There’s an automated way of doing it for all your games. https://github.com/boppreh/steamgrid Create a steamgriddb api key and add it as a parameter when you run the exe file. It autodetects everything and downloads cover arts, icons etc

Heroic launcher or Epic Games, which is better on Deck?
I don’t know what POD is. 20XX requires d3dcompiler_47 from here extracted into the prefix’s drive_c/windows/ folder. You only need to extract the zip and overwrite the two files.

took some tinkering bur Evil Dead the game runs great on steam deck
Basically you need to download the vc redist exe. I got mine from here https://github.com/CommandMC/EpicLinux/wiki/Train-Sim-World-2 than in the heroic launcher settings for the game scroll to the bottom of the wine settings and you should see "run exe on prefix" drag and drop the exe file or click on the box and open the exe file from its location. Then you setup it up like Normal. Also I used proton 7.0 under the wine version when I played. If you are having problems with dx12 not available try checking off "auto install/update dxvk at the top of the checklist
