I use Steam ROM Manager (installed and configured via EmuDeck) for setting game artwork in bulk for my ROM collection, but SteamGridDB in combination with SGDBoop works pretty well for the odd non-Steam game I add that isn't already picked up by SRM.
SteamgridDB tool, this program is the best if what you want is update ALL the missing art work of your whole Steam library, it automatically applies ALL the missing art work with just one command so is really easy to fix all the art of your whole library. It have a lot of additional options and personalisation but that need a bit of work to understand how to use the rest of the program. Here is a guide that I did for this program, if you want all your love library to look good this is the best option
Steam rom manager is my suggestion. I actually think it is poorly named because it can really create shortcuts for steam from any executable (although calling it steam non-steam game manager sounds bad, so touche). It has an incredibly flexible parser system that scapes directories. Their github issues page has a standing thread about user contributed parser. Included in there is one for bottles and lutris. But really you could just scrape a directory of shell scripts, so incredibly flexible.
