Staytus VS uptime-kuma

I am looking at https://staytus.co/, which is exactly what I need to display a basic up/down site. No automation is desired, simply a place for IT to indicate what is up and down, hosted out of bound from existing infrastructure. Hosting a full linux VM in IaaS to run Staytus seems very inefficient. Can anyone recommend a similar microservice, Azure app, or similar?

As of September 2022 it's still actively maintained. Which is why we've chosen to recommend this project over other popular open source alternatives such as Staytus, Cachet or Statusfy.

Because I'd be excited to see an alternative to staytus. Does the job but it's not exactly exciting.

Uptime Kuma can also monitor certificate expiration; you can also enable it to show you how many days are left until it expires.
