Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Introducing Spice.ai - open source, time series AI for developers
We plan to put up a project page at spiceai.org but have really been focused on the GitHub project, so we haven't launched that yet. Once it launches, it won't just redirect.
We’re looking for feedback on the direction. It’s not finished, in fact, we only started this summer, and we invite you to try out the alpha: https://github.com/spiceai/spiceai

Why can't Go be popular for machine learning?
CGO? Too much overhead in calling C functions (in which you can wrap libtorch or TF C++ code). And too much struggling woth CUDA (actually all GPU stuff). But, there are interesting attempts: https://github.com/gorgonia/gorgonia (I love it most), https://github.com/sugarme/gotch (bindings to libtorch), https://github.com/nlpodyssey/spago.
