As someone who has spent quite a few hours consolidating text messages into Signal, eg: https://github.com/alexlance/sms-mms-import-to-signal this is quite a disappointing change.
- When will SMS and MMS import be re-introduced? This is what is keeping me from using signal
- Import old sms and mms into Signal (the hard way)
