Picom transparency only applies to first window in workspace
So, i'm messing around rxyhn theme and this is my config file for compton right now. As per title, the opacity works for the first window in the workspace, but any subsequent window is opaque.

Awesome uses two config files are the same time.
git clone --depth 1 --recurse-submodules https://github.com/rxyhn/dotfiles.git cd dotfiles && git submodule update --remote --merge then yeah

Can I get useless_gaps, but with a solid color between?
You can use titlebars as borders (all 4 sides) and the actual borders as gaps. Check out smart_borders.

How to prevent passthrough of mouse scroll bind to a client?
Not a solution to your passthrough issue, but i am using smart_borders with volume control on scroll wheel. This lets me change the volume on any client border. I just have to move the mouse to edge of the screen and scroll without having to press any other button.
