- Hello. My daughter has been playing acoustic for a few years. She's getting a telecaster focusrite 2i2 and a cheap-ish amp for xmas. Do we need anything else for this program?

I saw that Rocksmith+ beta has support for Interfaces. Does 2014remastered also have this feature?
Not natively, but you can mod the game to enable ASIO support.
-
How do I set up the audio interface so that the audio comes through the guitar cable instead of my microphone?
Try changing the input channel, in fact if you check the premade config files in the github page, for the focusrite solo gen 3 (may also work on other Solo generations.) https://github.com/mdias/rs_asio/blob/master/docs/focusrite_solo/README.md you will se both inputs use channel 1

What was the game that made you go "Wait, what the hell am I doing with my life ?" and dropping it as the result ?
There is also a mod for the game that allows to use an existing audio interface for lower latency: https://github.com/mdias/rs_asio

Using Scarlett Solo 3rd gen for Rocksmith 2012
Or try this: https://github.com/mdias/rs_asio

NO AUDIO - RS 2014 and Focusrite 2i2
Why random googling and not looking for information at the source, i.e. the rs_asio github? It has sample configs for many interfaces https://github.com/mdias/rs_asio

Bass newb question
Alternatively, you can use various interfaces with RS2014 via RS_Asio. So you can have direct monitoring for headphones or active speakers there. I mean, I think my Focusrite Scarlett Solo sounds noticably better than the RTC, but RTC is the simplest way to do it.

No Cable Launcher compatability
https://github.com/mdias/rs_asio/issues/140 for example - a user writes the 96 works just fine in 48kHz mode with a buffer size of 64.

Microphone testing tops out at half with NoCableLauncher
I attempted to calibrate Rocksmith with my electric guitar, but no matter what I try, it always tops out at half. I am presently using the NoCableLauncher because I'm not paying Ubisoft $30 more for a DRM piece of plastic and copper. I have tried:
-
No cable issue
I tried this method as well https://github.com/Maxx53/NoCableLauncher
-
spark mini as an audio interface for rocksmith+
You need to download the nocablelauncher, I believe this is where I got it from: https://github.com/Maxx53/NoCableLauncher

Troubleshooting NoCableLauncher
Hey there. I've been playing Rocksmith for probably close to 10 months now, and I've used NoCableLauncher the whole time. I had it set up perfectly until recently when I reinstalled Windows 10 on my computer because W11 is balls. I absolutely cannot figure out how to reconfigure NoCableLauncher. No matter what I do, when I launch the game, it won't receive any input, but it also won't say anything about not having a Real Tone cable connected. Here's the link to the GitHub repo I got the files from.

How can I play RockSmith 2014, but with Apogee Jam+ instead of that worthless "RealTone Cable"?
Such as this one?
-
Starter with guitar needs help picking one
On PC/Mac you don't need reltone cable, You can use Nocable and a usb interface that supports 48khz or use direct connect mod. On game console you have 2 options RealTone cable or modded guitar hero mic.

Trying to play Rocksmith 2014 Remastered (steam) with Marshal MG15R Gold Amp and Aux cable
My PC seems to be detecting the guitar sound properly but when I open Rocksmith 2014 Remastered (steam), all I hear is a lot of noise. I have tried using this and this patch, the game detects the aux cable as Real tone cable which means the patch works may be partially but I can't solve the noise issue. I have tried bunch of variation of Rocksmith.ini but couldn't go past the noise issue.

i want to buy a electric guitar+amplifier. I have a budget of 200 euro's , what is nu best option?
Fyi you can just get a 1/4” to USB cable for around $12 (not sure about in Euros) and then use NoCableLauncher with Rocksmith to save yourself like $28, plus the cables are generally higher quality.
-
Does anybody have a link for Rocksmith 2014 Remastered?
The remastered version has a drm and hasn't been cracked, use this for getting cable to work at rs https://github.com/Maxx53/NoCableLauncher
