Out of the loop, what's good these days?
If you want a good assortment, you can try the Top-G repo. It has a little bit of everything inside it. Not ALL the popular add-ons but good enough to get you started until you get up to speed of what's out there. Also easier than having to install multiple repos as this handles all that for you.

Those add-ons will not work in Kodi 19.4 because they have long since been abandoned. You can try my new Top-G repo which is one repo with a good assortment of great add-ons for Kodi version 19.0 and higher. https://github.com/mrgsi/repository.topg

please help me
Why does it it not contain Seren (https://github.com/nixgates/plugin.video.seren) and VPN Manager (https://github.com/Zomboided/service.vpn.manager). Also SubLoader (https://github.com/denimnani/service.subloader) is a good subtitle addon. One question though. If an addon has an update, do you need to update your repo also or will it automatically see the update?

You can try Subloader https://github.com/denimnani/service.subloader it auto downloads the correct subtitle for your content, works great 95% of the times, A4ksubs is also great I use it both.
