redarc VS PowerDeleteSuite

Not sure if this is suitable to post here but this database and this tool provide both an archive of the sub & comments and a method to view and navigate them.

Redarc has a demo up with a couple subreddits loaded in but other than that no.

I'm thinking i will have to get a project like redarc or BDFR-to-HTML or much more likely Pushshift-Importer which allows you to import pushshift downloads into a SQLite database. From there i would have to hook up the database to a reddit-like frontend.

It's best to edit rather than delete comments. Use this fork as it has the required 5-second delay built in between edits: https://github.com/pkolyvas/PowerDeleteSuite

If you want to automate it, PowerDeleteSuite has filters for subreddit, score, and date so you can keep the new or good comments.

This is the tool I've been using. It does an edit every 5 seconds and it seems to stick. I run it again every so often and so far nothing has come back.

Also, if for any of you this should be the proverbial last straw prompting you to leave Reddit altogether (as things are unlikely to change for the better from here on out), remember to scrape your accounts if you so desire before deleting them.
